#OwnIt: Your Work. Your Identity

Welcome Message

Cooperatives know they are a different kind of business. The challenge they face is being able to show it. How does a co-op embrace its unique identity while explaining WHY the work they do is so important?

“OwnIt: Your Work. Your Identity.” is a public awareness campaign, call to action, website, hashtag and fundamental belief that every co-op has the uncommon power through common purpose to elevate the awareness of cooperatives and their role in their communities.

By aligning your .coop domain with the COOP Marque, you’re completing your cooperative identity. When you align that identity with NCBA CLUSA membership, you’re committing to tell your story. With so much competition out there, why wouldn’t you want to join with others just like you?
It’s time for every co-op to OwnIt.

You can use the OwnIt website, graphics, hashtag and more to raise the profile of cooperatives here in the U.S. and drive more members, customers, media and government leaders to your co-op.

Call to Action:

• Promote the cooperative difference with your .coop, the COOP Marque and
• Use OwnIt graphics in your internal communications to staff and Board
• Rally around the common idea with other local cooperative cross-sector and combine efforts
