Designed to kick off Co-op Month, this two-day event will feature live music and entertainment, high-profile speakers, co-op food samples, games, giveaways and interactive booths to engage the tens of thousands of people who visit the nation's backyard.

“We’re excited to showcase co-ops on this national stage and feature co-op brands and products that people use daily,” said Judy Ziewacz, President and CEO of NCBA CLUSA. “We hope that visitors will gain a greater understanding of the impact co-ops have in their communities and the equity and ownership they bring to the nation's economy.”

You can be part of this unprecedented opportunity to amplify the economic impact and sustainability of a business model 70 percent of consumers say they already trust.

Our Anchor and Gold Level sponsorships are filling up fast, but we have 30 Village Level sponsorships still available at just $500 each. Village sponsors each get a 10x10 tent at the festival and text placement on our event website.

Our Community Level sponsorship includes a 10x10 tent or a table inside the Co-op Café, as well as logo placement on the event website and festival t-shirt. Community sponsors can also add giveaways to the festival tote bag. We have 20 Community Level sponsorships still available at $1,500 each.

To participate, click on Exhibit Registration and look for our complete Exhibitor Kit coming August 10. We’ll have answers to all your questions about shipping, load-in/out, overnight security, food distribution, site maps and more. For now, check out our FAQs.

If your co-op is interested in greater participation and visibility at the festival, review our additional sponsorship levels here or send an email to Bryan Munson at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

The Co-op Festival will be held between 4th and 7th streets, flanked by the National Gallery of Art and the Air & Space Museum—a prime location to attract tourists visiting the Smithsonian museums.

By leveraging public recognition of well-known cooperatives, the Co-op Festival will connect the trust consumers say they have for the co-op business model with the brands they already shop, while introducing them to the full spectrum of co-ops building a better world in the U.S. and globally.
