NCBA CLUSA announced today that retail automation and point-of-sale leader ECR Software Corporation will join the 2016 Consumer Cooperative Management Association (CCMA) Conference as its premier sponsor. This is the third year ECRS will participate in this highlighted role at the conference, scheduled for June 9 – 11 in Amherst, Massachusetts.

ECR Software provides food co-ops with end-to-end store technology including point-of-sale, reporting and analytics, inventory control and forecasting, electronic supplier integration, general ledger integration, membership management, eCoupon, eReceipt, PA-DSS certified payment processing, WIC, EBT processing, video-enabled customer display, item attribute labeling, remote kitchen printing and fresh foods scale management.

“The technical expertise ECRS brings to the table for food cooperatives is impressive,” Patricia Sterner, CCMA Event Manager, said. “Their suite of solutions consistently and reliably help our members do their jobs more effectively, which, in turn, helps push the cooperative business model into new places. Their recently-launched efforts on training and education will be valuable resources to customers and new adopters.”

Having worked with food cooperatives for nearly two decades, ECRS brings a broad knowledge of the grocery sector that attendees are encouraged to tap into on-site. At CCMA, ECRS will participate in panel discussions and plans to be a resource for both start-up and established retail food cooperative businesses.

“In an increasingly complex environment, a co-op’s ability to serve its members and community depends on strong relationships with innovative partners,” said Ray Steele, Executive Director of Professional Services for ECRS. “ECRS is committed to our co-op partners and their success, and is proud to be the first to make fully-integrated solutions available for EMV, web click-and-collect ordering, business analytics and more. I’m excited to meet with key co-op leaders to unwrap some of the mystery surrounding EMV and to discuss how other innovative technologies will change the marketplace in the coming years.”

Attendees at CCMA 2016 will also be pleased to know that ECRS is planning to bring back its popular branded USB/invisible ink contest. Conference-goers can stop by Booth #01 during open exhibiting hours to check their USB drive, download materials, test the available POS hardware and ask questions from ECR Software representatives.
