President Signs Farm Bill

President Obama signed the bill into law today with NCBA CLUSA led provision for Interagency Working Group at USDA

The President signed the bill today reauthorizing many of the farm and nutrition-related programs carried out by USDA, including many that impact and benefit cooperative businesses.

NCBA CLUSA is hard a work convening our members and supporters to work with USDA every step of the way on this working group to ensure that the needs of cooperative development are heard and supported by USDA and other federal agencies.  Look for next weeks NCBA CLUSA Legislative Updates for more up to the minute news and information.
